The Tide is Turning........

I can't sleep and just been banged out in Poker so I thought I'd wax lyrical on here....

I honestly believe the tide has turned......in our favour.

It's quite funny reading the JBs' posts on here....I feel they've hit a comfort zone, along the lines of "we were 9th last year so all is rosey".......nothing could be further from the truth!

This season nothing is expected of us.......trust me that will work in our favour. We're happy to avoid the drop, and if that is achieved, most City fans will consider it "Job Done".

As for our six fingered little brothers.......the only way is down! If they finish 10th or below that is obviously a step backwards, and I'm quite confident that the Jacks on this board (and there are many!!!) will slate their team and ask for Sir Huw the Spew to be removed.

I honestly believe the tossers up the road will be in a relegation fight, with many others, possibly us included, but our only way is up. They're way is down and I'm licking my lips at the prospect.

if we go out against malmo i would say 7th-10th if we do ok in europe not below 12th , we've bought well and haven't lost anyone worth keeping (yet) , we did amazingly well last year so if we don't quite live up to it again it won't be a failure

level we are aiming at) we will only be perhaps a full back and a wide player away from having a better
side than them. Bony looks like he could be very good but apart from that they have really just signed
journeymen spaniards and a journeyman english baked bean head. Capoue would pick shelvey up fold
him in half and put him in his pocket. maybe we wont get him but our sights are set higher than theirs

What a complete load of crap, what journey men have swansea signed the spanish players signed are young and hungry with something to prove like chico and michu last season and cardiff haven't signed these two players yet maybe they dont want to go to cardiff, any club can come out and say we are after such and such, Swansea could say we want to sign messi, but we all know he wouldn't come, until they sign its all talk, a bit like you.

Teams have bad runs,as we saw last season,then there's injuries,lack of confidence if you have a bad run etc. Swansea have a good squad but i don't count them out.

They'll be in a relegation fight but they'll definitely stay up. It won't be quite as comfortable this year for them but comfortable enough not to go down. If they take their eye off the ball however...

We all have wishful thinking when it comes to Swansea and lets be honest its being relegated with nil points

But as Gareth (Wilts) pointed out earlier they have enjoyed amazing luck over the passed few season and again you have to say they have made the most of it.

Also the Premiership has been poor over the past few seasons (how Man Utd won the league with that team is a total mystery) and again the Jacks have made the most of it as the PL shed natural wastage like Blackburn, Wolves, Bolton, Birmingham etc.

However, the OP does make one very good point in that they believe they are in a comfort zone. I'm sure the teams mentioned above felt the same at times and along with the bad luck that must be around the corner it could be their undoing.
