SAM HAMMAM - A GENTLEMAN & A CHARACTER...

I had the pleasure of sitting by Sam throughout the Forest Green game & I thought he was a really top bloke. He spent time with the fans and was happy to have photos and sign autographs the whole time he was there. Having said that, what impressed me most was the fact he didn't take his eyes off the pitch while the game was on. He watched every kick & was getting involved just like we do. It was great to see.
I know people have mixed views on Sam and I don't think that will ever change. Of course he made mistakes but you can tell from just meeting and talking to him, that he really loves the club & Tan recognises that.
I'm sure he will have a big influence on a lot of people going forward and I'm glad to see him back.
As for playing in red, I don't like it but it certainty doesn't bother me as much as it bothers others. What people need to remember is that if anyone can persuade Tan to change back to blue, I'm sure its Sam Hammam.

To be fair he's always been a character and charismatic but no thanks to me and I expect Tan wouldnt have let him back if it wasnt for making the deal cheaper.

Next thing we are trying to persuade a player who is good enough to play in the champions league. Now that is a hmmmmmm.

While he is still owed money ian he will adopt the tan stance but the life presidency role allows him no influence and even his accountant has no power in the board room.
I believe once he has received all his money we will see very little of Sam at the club

how do u knw he didn't take his eyes off the pitch ? watching him the whole game was you only joking nice to hear he is still willing mix with the fans and be friendly, I personally wouldn't want to talk to the man who raped the club but I can get why some fans will
