West Ham Travel Restrictions

Thu Jul 25, 2013 8:58 pm

Can someone categorically confirm what the score is with travel for West Ham. Fully aware its a ticket exchange at south mimms BUT there's plenty on here saying how they're driving down, driving out to get the tickets then driving back and tubing it in etc etc etc.

Is there going to be a police escort from the services and only organised travel applicable?

I've asked a plenty of people including the T.O. and no-one is giving a straight answer.

Cheers

The cars won't be escorted in, just the buses.

Still no real clarification then! :)

Anyone know what time the exchange will start from?

so it wil be possible to drive to south mimms, and get in on the tube providing you can find somewhere to park?

For anyone that is driving & then tubing it, where are you parking? What is the nearest tube station? (Stupid question really, assuming West ham) or where is everyone drinking?

Uptown Park is the closest tube station. Parking around the ground is a nightmare, possible if you get there early enough in a side street, buy a nightmare otherwise. I would suggest parking in Westfield in Stratford, £5 all day and take the tube a few stops
