Bluebirds Unite have a great aspiration but they have put their foot in it so many times now that I'm afraid they are doomed.

Prior commitments. Plus, there's not really any point in fans travelling from all over S Wales just to go to a glorified cabaret evening.

Who was it that stood up and had a pop at Annis and Carl for not being there stating it was because of their friendship with Sam?

Re: BU -MEETING 7-9

Sam nor Tan will Not stop me wanting our Identity back, I will always be BLUE, I well never stop wanting our Identity back.
Just because I dont support everything they stand for and I didnt go tonight, people assume the wrong things.
I will never join a committee, I say what I feel

I support my team CARDIFF CITY, not the Regime

This Forum is BLUE and I am BLUE

Carl only came last time, because I invited him and he came to make up his own opinion, like many others.

Well surely a strong attendance at all events will do you more good? More turn up more money raised, more notice taken etc..all you will get now is " falling attendances..."

Surely the more people that turn up, the more support you get amd the stronger you are?

Maybe so, but I personally don't see much point in going to this sort of event. I think people want action & you don't get any action by going to listen to a band.

Just my thoughts.

Re: BU -MEETING 7-9

Why have a go at Annis or anyone else for not attending? They have only one agenda to get the club back playing in blue...no other topic and the club is red this season so why not get together and put a band on to try to get fans there? I think its a good cause but less and less will follow a committee and people get fed up with meetings...just ask the trust :D

Raising money is fine but then giving it away to charity makes no sense,or sponsoring a local kids soccer team...its causes rows over which charity or team they sponsor. why not raise enough for the free blue scarf idea..providing they keep things peaceful, which they have so far, I don't see any harm in this group but they can harm themselves by having at fans who actually want the blue.

seemed quite a few outside the libs in the beer garden - but im not a fan of this unite thing i gotta be honest , just seems to cause more harm than good - im happy to ride the wave for now and when tan decides to sell - which he will eventually ... the new owner will put us back in blue with our proper badge and will become a hero - just wish i was a billionaire and i would do it - for now a colour and a badge aint enough to turn me against my beloved CARDIFF CITY

It wasn't a meeting, more of a cabaret. I wasn't in attendance. :ayatollah:

That's fair enough. A peaceful blue scarf "protest" is the way to go I feel. Hence the BU team trying to raise as much money as possible to make it happen.

See what your getting at now, yes that would be brilliant :ayatollah:

See the word protest and picture marches with songs and cardboard signs  that wouldn't do any good tbf.

BU are really confusing. Are they trying to attempt to get Blue back? Because it seems like they are just doing more celebrating of the blue atm.

That's why I want to back them.. I see them as the best chance of the scarves idea happening... The morons who witter on about Tan are doing the group a massive disservice though.

Yes they are, I might of made a hasty decision in some peoples eyes but its because of those types of people i cant follow BU, my choice obviously and i'll stick with it...but have always championed the effort put in and can see sian learning all the time, no personal issues or an attack on the group as a whole as it is a good idea, need a bit of guidance and direction maybe? But people thinking a comment about a car crash was funny and suggesting it may of been Tan after what happened in his family is a f*cking disgrace and the person whoever he is should be ashamed he even wrote it.
That is the biggest problem BU have...stopping these types of idiots..and also the ones that come right out in attack mode when you mention BU does no good for the image as a ehole and even if it is only a few, it reflects on the group as a whole, a bit like hanging around with known drug users, you may know you are not a user but everyone will assume you are and your clean reputation is darkened...bad example but you get what i mean.

Which is why I keep telling them to stop. In fairness to BU, they can't monitor comments 24/7 - but they need to do a better job of it.

However, your constant running down of the group as a whole is just as unhelpful & also slightly unfair on them.

Of course it does. I've gone to meetings and posted my thoughts on their site, but it's up to them to take that advice on board. I'm not a BU committee member, just someone that would like to see CCFC in their rightful colour.

Your opinions are ones that I wholly embrace and share.
