How the Cornelius signing came about

I heard a bit of info today about how the signing of Cornelius came about for our club, im not sure if you all know this already or if its new info.

From what ive heard Man Utd where very interested in signing him but it was decided after many scouting sessions that they (MU) decided not to make a bid.

Alex Ferguson then highlighted the player to MM who bid for him after the advice from Fergie was recieved.

Apprantly Fergie is firm friends with Malky Mackay senior.


Quite interesting to hear that United gave him serious consideration, hopefully he'll serve us well.

Yeah malky's old man and fergie played for the same team at one point so I hear!!!
