But I'm sure when I came in 2000'ish did he not say something like;
"I have a dream of Cardiff playing in the top flight in a brand new stadium,it won't happen overnight,it could take 10/15/20 years. I might not always be in charge and I might not be the one to takes Cardiff into the prem, But I will be with you every step of the way!"

Those are not direct quotes. But I'm sure when he joined they were something along the lines of what he said..

It's pretty much happened that way though to be fair to him.

We might have made the prem sooner than we did like several of the clubs around us or could have gone bust who knows. I agree he was a very charismatic man when he was here but he made too many lies and nearly destroyed us for me to ever trust him or respect him again

We were on the brink when he joined.. We were in the brink when he left..

But we were in a higher division and a more marketable product when he left to when he joined.

Who knows but think about it. Someone else might have come in, we could have stayed around the lower divisions,who knows? and the ' where we are today bit is classic. yes we most prob would not be where we are today.... Fan fighting fan over a bloody colour, A man who come in and saved this club from ruin being abused at every chance, ( and before anyone has a dig SH own words this week were we would have ended up in admin.)
So no one knows where we would have been, I believe its called FATE.
