WOULD MALKY WANT LEDLEY ?

Joe Ledley has a year left on his contract and has apparently been offered a new deal on less money than he is currently on.

Still like Joe, was one of my fav city players.

Don't know where he would fit in? Is he better than we already got?

He can play in defence as well as midfield but he's said time and time again he's happy at Celtic, even said about Wanyama etc.

With all the players who have turned us down I guess he wouldn't do too bad if he did come back

A place on the bench maybe, but not in the starting 11.

Ledley is a quality player,I'd love to see him playing for us in the premier.
He could do a job no problem.

Personally I think we now have better. Would be a decent squad player but him signing wouldnt set the world alight. I think Malky is aiming higher than this

No need we've got Gunnersson, both distinctly average players imo. what's happening at Celtic? they seem to be selling or trying to sell everybody for mega bucks, and then reduce the wages of players they want to stay.

He did well for us in his day but I think our midfield is better now - not sure he'd get a place in the team.

I'd have him. Seeing as we're missing out on players left right and centre, he'd be a decent acquisition. Plus, being a local lad and a City fan, he'd have that desire and drive that could be the difference between staying up and going down, a lot like Bellamy

He and his agent held contract talks.

I'd only consider him as a squad player, as he can cover left back, left mid and central mid. Useful to have, but wouldn't be first choice in any of those positions for me!

We can do better but we can't get better in atm so kind of would welcome him back.

No your wrong. He went to Celtic for more money an even wait to sign the contract so we'd not get compo from Celtic.

Read a Ledley interview about a month ago and he said he is loving his time at Celtic and had no intention of moving on.

Gary bell once said to me that ledley could be the best left back we never had, and coming from him that's high praise. I agree and think he has played out of position for most of his career.

I'd rather Matthews but I guess Ledley would want to prove himself in the PL as a hometown boy too

He was quality for us but was quick enough to eff off to Celtic when we needed him so my answer is I wouldn't be excited to see him back besides we need to strengthen our midfield IMO !!!!!
