Our Defence

The more I think of it I fear for our current defence in the premiership, I think it will get ripped apart in the prem so I hope malky got some defenders lined up for the new season, a left back right back and centre back is a must imo

Don't think Turner will have the pace for it. Makes decent tackles and head ring clear but one on one with some of the premiership top boys i think he will be exposed.

You never know ?? lets face it monk williams and tate have got by so it cant be that difficult.

Hudson is a good leader......people who think Turner won't have the pace haven't been watching properly cos I've seen him keep up with fast players. connolly completed underrated, no one seems keen on him but he was solid all last season. scored a few goals and didnt let us down. Taylor had iffy moments but good going forward. everyone is far too harsh on our team.

Turner got out muscled by Josh King ffs, he looks big but he's not, he needs to get on the weights. Connolly is decent but his versatility is holding him back, he needs a secured role so he knows where he's playing. Taylor's class. We have no strength in depth to push the players to play better

i expect turner has lost the odd battle but he is pretty strong. i know that we need depth but we have to accept the likes of super kev and lappin as back up cos no one better is gonna come in just to sit on the bench

Winston Churchill was a good leader but he was faster than Hudson!

Hudsons leadership experience and reading of the game will make him good enough for the prem imo but turner not quick enough and distribution is not good enough for prem, Connolly good championship player but not good enough to make step up, Taylor good going forward but too slow I feel, might be good enough but we need another left back to push him and add competition, so we need a right and left back and new centre back imo

I think MM has something lined up with new faces coming in. As it stands. Our defence against the likes of Rooney, Bale. Aguero, Torres, Welbeck , Suarez, Sturridge eat al. We will be smashed ! I hope that I am wrong but I. An see us leaking a lot if goals this season.

One game doesn't determine a player, you're more on your A-game in a final, no doubt he had a good game for us that day. He had a good first half of the season in his first season then he started to fade away

I will be happy with a new RB. Turner has decent pace when he gets going, you say about you cant judge him but then pick up on Josh King out strengthening him, any other times you can think of it happening? Turner will be fine but needs to learn to play a short pass

Turner will suit the Prem way more, it seems more for defenders like him. No doubt.

It was a friendly ffs, the boys were being careful, no harsh tackles and risky lundges, forest green probably gave it there all, our defence was mixed up into 2 halfs, if u think back last season we hardly conceded from open play for long spells throughout season !.. They'l be ok'ish !!
