Always remember the football boot on fire goal scoring celebration against Bristol City and of course his stoppage time winner against Swansea City during the 2010 season. It's a fact football fans can be very fickle and of course Chopera had his demons who could sometimes say things without thinking but i loved the guy and his exploits for us on the pitch,he scored a shed load of goals whilst playing here "whats that coming over the hill" so i wish him good luck for the future and just hope he sorts himself out.

Totally agree , people forget too quickly what he did for us !! Some vital goals and a lot of goals , the one against the jacks is special , the celebration , hot boot , and of course , the what's that coming over the hill song !! What he did off the pitch is his business !!
He will always be one of my personal fav's !

I love Chopra and he still loves us. Only thing I didn't like about him is apparently when we were losing to Bristol City at Trashton Gate, he was more focused on the horses, the management staff hid his phone and he said he wouldn't play unless they gave it back, he wouldn't listen at all. I admire his goalscoring record for us though, it's a shame his personal troubles hindered his footballing career

Hope he does well and puts everything behind him. With good service from Ince and Phillips he should score goals. Still got enough quality to challenge at the top end of the league

Met him in the vale a couple of years back when he first came back with Ipswich. Joked about him not scoring tomorrow (which he did!) Top bloke had time for a chat and a photo and also the goal against the Jacks was priceless!

Surprised Blackpool can afford his wages if this is true, their owner likes to do everything on the cheap

That's true about Chopra and his mobile, Bellamy mentioned it in his book. Chopra went ballistic.
Despite this sort of thing, I'll always have fond memories of Chops, hope he does well at Blackpool.

In Bellamy's book they even had the horse racing on on the coach before games, although Bellamy says "we" always had the horse racing on so it seemed Chopra's gambling rubbed off on others. Also, Bellamy revealed some players didn't bother turning up for training some days and nothing was ever done about it, thank god things aren't like that now!
