Wigan, Bolton or Doncaster. His agent has mentioned to cardiff but don't think it's an area they are looking at mo and not sure he's 4 them
He said he would love to join (Cardiff). Said its not even question of wages he would take what they offered. Loves the club

That's what I thought for definite, I didn't think we'd work like that, 'not a position we're working on atm' is a bit worrying cos we need defenders!

Unless it means deals are close/more or less done

Good luck to him to be honest, shame he's not coming back, will always have good memories of him, lifting him up on our shoulders

MM - Must have a CB or other defenders lined up,as i thought that Barnett would be one player our manager would get in.

No problem! It's alright, bit confusing why we aren't going for him even though he's begging to join us, we're doing what players have rumoured to have done to us(turned us down) he's not that bad of a defender either. Surely must be close to signings if that's the case

This is a strange one, we have a player who wants to come here and was a great addition to the team and now all of a sudden he's not good enough. very strange as I think he's a more complete player than Turner.

Although after the parade MM was in contact with Norwich about what was going on when their season ends.

I wish he could come back. He was brilliant and we need something like him. He was an 8 game legend.

Wigan manager Owen Coyle has tabled a £500,000 bid for Norwich's unwanted defender Leon Barnett.
Barnett, 27, helped the Canaries win promotion to the Premier League two seasons ago and last term played a part in Cardiff's elevation to the top flight. Doncaster have also shown interest.

Wish him the best wherever he ends up and should have had a medal IMO.

Don't know who else we've got lined up, but I thought he did a super job for us.
