PATIENCE PAYS OFF FOR LANGSTON

Tue Jul 23, 2013 7:30 pm

23rd July 2013

TLG's (Dave Sugarman)latest post regarding Langston.

Written and posted by TLG.

In his infamous re-brand statement, which appeared on Cardiff City Football Club's official website in June 2012, Vincent Tan claimed that £10 million had been earmarked to settle the long-standing Langston loan notes debt.

Thirteen months further down the line, it seems that Langston's representatives have managed to add no less than 50% to that figure if last night's Walesonline reports are accurate. Not only that, but it appears that Sam Hammam now has a representative on the club's board in the shape of Michael Filiou, as well as having bagged himself an honorary position as Life President.

This news must come as a nasty shock to those who have persistently claimed that the Langston loan notes were legally unenforceable and Sam Hammam would never get a penny from the club while the mighty Vincent Tan was in charge.

It must also rankle with director Steve Borley who, during a message board spat with Carl 'Ankles' Curtis in February 2012, claimed that the Langston loan notes agreement wasn't worth the price of a "tripe supper." One can only assume that the butchers in Cyncoed must be making a killing at those prices.

Now that the Langston issue has finally been settled, the door is wide open for a stadium sponsorship deal, which is excellent timing given the club's recent arrival in the Premier League. So will Vincent Tan and his cronies take full advantage and arrange a lucrative deal with a major international sponsor, or will Cardiff City soon be playing at the Berjaya Stadium? We should find out soon enough.

Lets cut through the shit. Sam was Langston and was afraid of being exposed
in a full court case. So he took less than half the 'alleged' money owed sooner
than face a judge who had already intimated he thought Hammam would be
exposed in open court

Thank you

Exactly! A complete misguided misinterpretation of the events of yesterday. What utter bollocks! Whoever has posted this as 'latest news' then grow a set of balls and tell us who you really are so we can see the agenda loud and clear

The interview with him in the Echo tomorrow will be a classic read, i wonder if he'll tell
us he's sorry for his mistakes again...
