Capoue has openly stated that he wants to play in the Premier League. You never know...

Etienne Capua, who always has a good output in Toulouse, is tracked by the club Cardiff City in the transfer window.

Where bounce Etienne Capua during the transfer window ? Tracked by AS Monaco , the French international has a release from the leaders Toulouse FC but still no takers. While the Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid are also in the running, a contender for the least surprising have appeared in the file.

He was far more highly rated. Michael Carrick was very highly rated in his West Ham days, tipped to sign for United or Arsenal. But he went to Spurs and they ended up being a stepping stone to him signing for United. Scott Parker could have stayed at Chelsea and won regular trophies sitting on the bench, but he left for Newcastle United and regular football. Kevin Nolan, a very good Premiership midfielder, left Newcastle for a longer contract in the Championship with West Ham. Cornelius was apparently scouted by United, who did he sign for? And last but not least, our very own Kim Bo-Kyung! Apparently scouted by Celtic and Borrusia Dortmund, looked good in the olympics as well. Who does he currently play for?

There are plenty of young talents in Europe who would be happy to use a side like Cardiff for a season or two as a stepping stone to greater things, this is what we should be aiming for. If Kim and Cornelius maximize their potential here in the next two, maybe three seasons, they could be sold on for £15-20m each! That money would then be invested in the squad, like Swansea did with the Joe Allen money.

Don't think we can compete with the likes of Napoli and Atletico though, Napoli finished second in their respective league and have an exciting new project under Benitez. I can see him going there

Kim Bo Kyung weren't chased by Dortmund or Celtic, just sent scouts over there to take a look and it didn't mount to anything.

I hope we do go in for him.
