LANGSTONE - THE ''REAL LANGSTONE''

Tue Jul 23, 2013 11:06 am

Does anyone in their right mind still believe that Hammam was not Langstone

Or should we instead believe that this secretive but perfectly legitimate group gave Sam
permission to settle for £15m and a job as "Look But Dont Touch President" - rather than
hanging on for £30m+ in just over two years.

So, Hammam WAS Langstone, we all know it.

Was he lying when he said he was just a representative, or was that another ''mistake''

I'm actually glad he's staying in an ''advisory role'' :?

It will be Comedy Gold on here. Every time the Sun comes out - "Oh, Sam done that"

I would not be surprised to see SH given one of the Bosnian/Croat teams to run as part of the deal.
He then has a football club to run, and thankfully, it is not ours. :ayatollah:

It's done now so let's just move on. Time to support the team, the manager and the club (and to continue to support the Pro Blue agenda).

I hope so. The Title he's been given is just for his ego. He will have no say in anything :ayatollah:

Funny how the hero always becomes the villain in football once they move on or sell up, VT will be branded the same by fans once he wants his 16oz stakes worth back one day I'm sure.

It is done now as pointed out but I have always believed there was a 'Langston' consortium in 2004 who chipped together the £30m to pay off Citibank and leave £6m for working capital or whatever.

However, after Sam was ousted in 2006 at some later point (probably after the 2008 High Court hearing) he had to pay off the other members out of his own pocket and became the sole member of 'Langston'

So like all bullshit it is based on some truth. You just have to make a judgement call on how much is bullshit there is.

Bookmark this one, although VT like Sam when he was here is already a villain to some.

Interesting scenario Tony.
