Whittingham's strikes at around the four-minute mark looked very sweet indeed.

We can only hope the rest and squad competition towards the end of last season has done him a world of good.

I take a lot of confidence from watching that clip. Players looking very sharp indeed and I think a lot of us fans are underestimating the quality of the squad and some of our players. We definitely need to add some quality signings especially in defence I feel (3 players) , another winger and midfielder and I think we will be alright and might surprise a lot of people and teams next year.

The only thing that worries me is the defence
