Question

Mon Jul 22, 2013 8:48 am

I have a question for this Forum............if indeed we have a state of the art training facilities, why did we feel the need to make the jaunt over to Switzerland for a whole week ?....wouldn't that time have been better used playing some pre season friendlies, surly playing another team in a competitive environment would have been preferable to just running round a field somewhere or playing 5 a side mickey mouse games against your own team mates....also i get the feeling that if Mackay is ever going to make another signing,he needs to be at his desk right next to the phone, not wasting his time in Switzerland........for those of you on here who think that Mackay will make a signing or two today, forget it......things will have to be put on hold until the royal baby is born, well the chosen one did say we would have to be patient,so expect another delay until the royal baby is named...

Pe-season friendlies are gash

Modern technology means phones work across borders.

Most things can be done on a mobile

Training at Swiss base gives players a different altitude than the one at the Vale and enhances fitness and conditioning.

Switzerland has long been the destination for all things cardio in Europe. The air is clean and oxygen rich
and considered a perfect climate for fitness training.

But dont let that get in the way of another ignorant stab in the dark at Malky by his number one Fan.

After all, it was plain to see that last years pre-season training let the Club down badly because
in the first ten league games, City only won SEVEN :? :? :?

Your latest attempt to get bites just goes to show how out of touch you are.Your suggestions were the norm 20 years ago,not so now. Also your judgement of Malkys workings just goes to show how little you really know.Still,I guess your hanging on for what is going to be a difficult season for this club,Malky included. Then we'll see you at your trolling best as the leader of the anti-Malky brigade.Careful angelis your mask is slipping.

His thread here exposes him. He really knows NOTHING about modern football/training/techniques.
but still has the audacity to question Malky Mackay. As I said, if Angelis had done his research he may
be forced to admit (some chance) that the 73% of points we gained in those first ten games was the
cornerstone for the whole season. He's a troll who doesnt think things through

Re: Question

just one question, How long have you been supporting Cardiff City ???

Re: Question

Mon Jul 22, 2013 1:55 pm

In answer to your question binero .......i have been supporting Cardiff City for over 50 years, may i ask how long you have been a supporter?..........what a predictable response it was to my posting, yes i would guess i am Mackay's biggest critic on here, but i have given the Scot credit for doing things right at times,as for you bunch of Mackays groupies, the man could be a serial killer,or a wife beater, and you would still trot out that "in Malky we trust" nonsense....i would advise a trip to the optician for you all,as i fear you may all be suffering from being myopic

Explain yourself then. What do YOU know about getting footballers in their peak condition that
Malky Mackay AND HIS TEAM OF EXPERTS don't. What evidence are you going off that Malky
Mackay has somehow dropped the ball with this trip to Switzerland.

Re: Question

Mon Jul 22, 2013 3:04 pm

Malky is not a fan of playing pre season abroad. He prefers to proper full on fitness and training as he believes if you play a game then you'd most likely have a day of rest which kind of takes up a lot of time going to a training camp.

Well going to switzerland last season didnt do us much harm did it
ridiculous question

Re: Question

Mon Jul 22, 2013 6:16 pm

I've been supporting Cardiff for 40 years myself, and my next question, have you always been this negative in your 50 years of supporting Cardiff ??

Re: Question

Mon Jul 22, 2013 10:18 pm

My dear binero ...when you have supported one team for over half a century, you would have seen a lot of managers come and go,i have seen good managers get the sack and i have seen bad managers keep their jobs simply because they become a yes man to the chairman, now of course we have a foreign owner, who knows absolutely nothing about football, one reason i feel negative about Mackay is i think he is, as well, as his backroom procurement team completely out of their depth,i sincerely hope i'm wrong, and if Mackay can sign at least 3 quality players before the season starts,i promise you my dear fellow, i will apologise in writing on the board, and do it willingly

Friendlies are meaningless as it takes 2 days (to prepare and rest after) on rubbish pitches and poor teams. So hard training was better.

BTW the royal baby's name is Sam, as it is part of the Langston deal
