All jokes aside it is no laughing matter. I just dont see Malky being the sort of guy to embrace Sams antics.

Football, especially top level, has moved on at a crazy rate this last 10 years and I think its left dinosaurs like Sam behind.

Remains to be seen but if he has to come back in some capacity lets hope its in name only.

Malky has only ever led us to believe he has an excellent working relationship with Tan and his team and certainly last season it was a winning formula. It would be absolutely crazy to change that dynamic IMO.

Hopefully his position will have no real power or influence.

I think Sam's done the club more harm than good - the ultimate example of a businessman through and through, who says (mostly) what the fans want to hear, but shafted the club in the end...

As has been pointed out, The Sam gang are speculating on yet another snippet from their Lord and

Honorary title or not Sam will see it as an official role and won't be able to help himself when it comes to sticking his beak in. I am a big fan of Sam Hamman the MAN but not the BUSINESSMAN or when he has anything to do with us as a club. Welcome him to the CCS with open arms whenever he wants to come and watch us play but please make it clear to him that any chance of him having anything more to do with the club beyond being a supporter are over.
