I absolutely love thunder storms. Nothing like mother nature putting on a show and flexing her muscles

Just starting my 2 weeks off now and have struggled in work in this heat for 2 weeks!!!
Hope there wrong about the weather!!!
Love a thunderstorm though
Sun Jul 21, 2013 5:46 pm
The thunderstorm will also be good news to any time-travellers who are literally stuck in the past and are trying to get back to the future.
Sun Jul 21, 2013 5:55 pm
The thunderstorm will also mean that the delightful weather girl presenter that is Lucy Verasamy will likely have to say something like 'after a hot damp start, it will get increasingly wetter and I am expecting expect heavy gusts of wind and the odd rumble of thunder'. I would use her shit for toothpaste, the fox. Ding Dong.

Im fine working in it but that would depend on what job you do though.
Try training for a 10km in near 40 degree heat!!! 30 degree heat takes a good 20% off your performance but over that batters you. It will be an absolute joy to go running in torrential rain compared to the shit I've had to deal with lately. All I can say is bring on the winter or even better 10 degree weather which is ideal.

For no apparent reason, I feel compelled to add the words "Piss Flaps" to this thread. That's better.

Fair play thats pretty good going. I wouldn't be great over 10km at the moment as I'm pretty out of shape. My best is 38.17 but I have run very few of them and could have done better. I've hit 17.29 on a 5km but I'm damed if I can get anywhere near that since.

About time. I was tempted to do it myself. "Beef curtains" was another one I was considering using
