Vincent Tan Makes Bid for Luxury Car Dealer HR Owen

According to news reports Vincent Tan the club chairman has made a bid for HR Owen the luxury car dealership.

For those unfamiliar with the name, HR Owen specializes in the world's top marques such as Rolls Royce, Ferrari, Aston Martin and Lamborghini. It is essentially a Harrods for cars.

Presumably, once Mr Tan completed the takeover he would arrange for HR Owen to sponsor the club, possibly even becoming its main short sponsor.

Associating Cardiff City with such an illustrious name is a clear demonstration of the extraordinary vision and ambition that Mr Tan has for the club. What it would do for Cardiff's wider image in the eyes of the world is just awesome.

Not sure about the sponsorship thing.

By making HR Owen the shirt sponsor you would help to make it a bigger name as it would have national exposure in the media here in the UK and exposure worldwide through the Premier League.

Personally I think having HR Owen would be fantastic. You would be associating the world's most illustrious car marques with focused young athletes at the top of their game - here in Cardiff!

If Mr Tan does buy them, then there would be opportunities for HR Owen and Cardiff City to cross-promote and become synonymous with each other.
