Away days - which fixtures you want to attend?

Sun Jul 21, 2013 9:06 am

Which away fixtures are people targeting this season? I know the hardcore will attend all but I've set myself a number of targets for a number of reasons. Main ones being that I haven't been to a few of the grounds.

West ham (1st away game of Premier league. Wouldn't miss it for this reason)
Hull (I am attending due to business connection in Hull who is taking me out for the day. I return favour on home leg)
Fulham (Never been to the cottage. An old school ground I've wanted to go to to tick off)
Aston villa (mate is a season ticket holder and lives in midlands so will go up. Been there 3 times before though)
Liverpool (one of the big ones so will attend if I can. Only been to anfield once and was to young to remember)
Man city (will try and go to this never been to etiad)
Man united (self explanatory)
Everton (never been and would like to go)
Newcastle (last away game so fancy the piss up)

Chelsea and arsenal don't really interest me nor the ex champ sides that have come up as I attended them last year. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

For me it is

West ham as it is the 1st prem game

Fulham - like yourself old school ground that I want to tick off

Utd - Always wanted to go there, fingers crossed I get the chance

Man City - I fancy the Etihad, but Jan is an expensive month so we will see

Liverpool - loved it when we played them in the league cup a few years ago so defo going again

Everton - always fancied goodison, once again fingers crossed.

Newcastle - didnt go the other season so I want to treat myself. Plus I fancying the nightlife & getting mortal

I have already done spurs, arsenal, chelsea, villa in the prem. No doubt I will end up going to thses plus the lower games like hull etc as I cant seem to pass them up.

None. I gave up going away 4 years ago.

Ive seen prisoners transported between courts / prison better than our fans trying to get to an away ground.

More Bubbles than the Aero factory.

Cold lager / strongbow in a glass? Must be a posh establishment? May be cheaper to travel

Due to lack of money not going to be able to attend many but the ones i would love to do are Everton because I have always wanted to go to Goodison, Sunderland to tick off my list and Man utd because i would just love to see City win at Old Trafford :D

Fulham - just to help my away qualifications
Villa - not that far from us and a good club
Chelsea - missed the last time
Liverpool - still a huge club
Arsenal - never went the last time and nice ground
Man City - good team
Man United - good team
Spurs - soft spot

Villa
Chelsea
Palace
Everton
Liverpool
Man City
Man United
Southampton
Stoke
Swansea
Spurs

These are the games I want to attend based on grounds I enjoy going to, unmissable games and grounds I haven't been to. I know I won't be able to afford to go to many next season though so I reckon I'll only be able to go to a few.

I'd ask what ever league we were in! Like most years we have new and old teams to play but this season is clearly another opportunity to tick off some more away trips. Was only born in 83 old boy :old:
