Exactly , he's has shot himself in foot with 5% comments . We have 20 k of season tickets . If the club were to do the right thing and survey every season ticket holder the numbers in favour of a return to blue would give them no choice . This is why they didn't do it prior to rebrand and probably never will . A very sad state of affairs .

There is one thing people accepting the rebrand , however even the most ardent of rebrand supporters can't have the brass to say it would win a proper vote of the season ticket holders . Makes the 5% comments pretty laughable really . That trust surveys backs this up further .

The countries a democracy but it doesn't pass into the ownership of the club, he can do what he wants. Even a ST survey wouldn't change anything. Short of a half empty stadiums or sale of the club nothing else will affect the rebrand.

Believe there is about 1.5k in trust (although may have made that up ) there were nearly 900 people who did that survey and it was a mix of trust and non trust members . You have to conclude that the results are likely to be reflective of overall fan base .

Thought the survey was done by just under 700 but still a good level and definitely representative. Would have expected more than 20% of the membership to have taken the survey though.

I thought 5% was pretty generous . A generous 400 showed at the last meeting and from 20K I'd say that is 2%

Well, your figure is wrong for a start.

I'd say near 700 for a midweek meeting during the off-season is very good indeed.

Do you expect every shareholder of a plc to turn up at the agm . Stupid comparative

Well that was the figure quoted by Carl and Annis . Maybe you can get someone on the door to count them next time.

My figures are more accurate than that Facebook / twitter figures put out by the BU rep.

Well that's another thing that Carl got wrong then. :laughing6:

The pub was full and the owner said there were 600 & he isn't allowed to fit anymore in. So there were several outside.

Ok let's say you are right with your figure of 700 , I now make that 3.5%, still generous

So you expected every single person to attend that meeting if they are against the red? :laughing6: how very naive.

700 was an excellent show of support on a WEEK NIGHT & DURING THE OFF SEASON.

Certainly wasn't just 700 people singing "We'll always be Blue" at Tan vs Bolton..

No but I'd expect more than 7% !!!! . The 10K members your BU leader is quoting.
We all know those figures are massively skewed.
To view the website you have to agree to be a member .... Laughable

You can't expect every person who would prefer the club to play in blue to turn out to a meeting . Take your point though , any Facebook / twitter based numbers can usually be taken with a pinch of salt

Ok Facebook quote / members to be precise .

You really are struggling Chuckles to put a good argument against Tans claim of 5% so I shall leave you now. Please feel fee to have the last say .

As is normal on a FB page?

So the website is freely viewable to anyone & so is their forum, yet you're trying to make out that the group is secretive.

Struggling? I'd say that was you.. Making up lies to try and run down BU.. Grow up.

I've put a good arguement forward, you've chosen to ignore it. :malky:
