I very much doubt it will.

Who cares if Sky/papers did "murder" us anyway.

I do, being treated like shit at football games is not an enjoyable experience, our actions early in the season will dictate our treatment until may and possibly beyond

Well I can honestly say you do this WITHOUT the majority backing of Cardiff fans. Make a fools of yourself if really want to. Pathetic.

I've always found entirely peaceful marches 'pathetic' and as for those who wish to uphold our traditional identity through polite and respectful means, well, one can only describe them as 'fools...'

The fallout from any violence involving our club in the premier league caught on sky cameras will effect us all. Not saying the march will turn sour, I'm just saying if it did, then we will all pay. our club will be under the spotlight BIGTIME! By the media. We are still very much seen as a club with a troublesome fanbase, they will be waiting for the slightest thing to crucify us over.

There's only one "pathetic" view in this thread & that's Tony Brown Williams, who claims to be "pro-blue", but when there's any sort of action to get it back, he calls it pathetic etc.

If people want to peacefully protest and attempt to show that the fans want blue, who the hell are you to say they are pathetic by doing so? Who said you were a spokesman for the "majority of bluebird fans".

I've got him on ignore, but can see his rubbish through quotations.

This Tony guy was giving his opinion (a bit too strongly I agree) , but his point I'm guessing is that a march and associated press coverage will not be beneficial to the club. Obviously there's a chance that it will be the opposite too (we live in hope).
I missed the bit where Tony said he was a "spokesman" for anyone but I did see his claim about "majority".
Baz , did you make up the "spokesman" bit ? Or did you read too much into his opinion ?
Keep posting Baz !

The day should be one of celebration, the first game at home in the Premiere league, unfortunately it may turn out to be a day of confrontation.A fabulous day for many may well be ruined by a minority.

Any evidence that it's going to be confrontational? Or are you just guessing?

Thing is Chuckles,it only takes a couple of idiots to spoil it for the many well meaning fans and there are many hiding amongst them.

Re: BU march

I will give you a previous example of an earlier march organised by another group of Blue campaigners who were abusing fans, who had the audacity to wear red shirts to the game, mainly kids I know, but I believe some of these are now part of the BU group. It will only take a few of these gobby kids to start on other fans for some sort of confrontation to take place.

Another group, that was organised by a bunch of kids. No leadership/strong guidance that BU have by the bucketful.

BU will not allow that to happen. To assume that abuse will happen because of an event organised by a totally different body, is incorrect and grossly unfair.

It will just be a few chants and will end with the same familiar faces on the Tv camera's

Good luck though :thumbright:

That's my thoughts on it as well.

BU might of started peacefully but it could be an excuse for the super Sam army to over run things.

Re: BU march

Fri Jul 19, 2013 11:58 pm

What a pathetic comment.

What has Sam got to do with it? You haven't got much of an opinion if you have to include Sam in the discussion.

Most of them never been to a Football match but like to see their photo in the paper.

Re: BU march

This is going to be peaceful and that will upset some on here.

Re: BU march

Sat Jul 20, 2013 6:18 am

I cannot believe that the intention of BU will be anything other than a peaceful march in celebration of our first home game in the top tier for over 50 years and of course for our traditional Blue playing strip.

As regards the media it wouldn't matter if there were only 2 people and a dog marching as MediaWales would be ALL over it like a rash. Is that a good or bad thing ? I suppose that will depend on which side of the fence you sit but whilst I have decided to take a step back from openly supporting this BU group I wish them well.

For those, like myself, who would prefer to see the club return to our traditional colours there is a better way to make the point and that is to wear "Blue" inside the ground at ALL home matches and to make sure the "We're Cardiff City We'll Always Be Blue" chant is sung load and clear.

The colour "Blue" is what the vast majority of fans, at this moment in time, most clearly "Identify" our team with but sadly those numbers will reduce the longer our team are wearing "Red". That's why, in my opinion, wearing "Blue" is a more powerful and peaceful form of protest than any march.

Yes but to some that's supporting the regime. You know putting money in Tans pocket.

I get the impression some people don't want the colour blue in the stadium.
