Red birds unite (ru)

Fri Jul 19, 2013 8:12 pm

Before you call me a plastic! Identity theft accusations and similar slander, I'm sick and tired of this 'small' band of merry men and woman who are attempting to disrupt the wonderful work mr tan has done to rid our club of debt and not end up like Coventry .... I can list off all the games I went too before the changes but that means nothing, Football has moved on, we are red now not blue but still Cardiff city. If you are interested to show your support for red, we stand together and hold our own committee, marches and positive commercial awareness for mr tan. I don't want my family, new supporters, and anyone wishing to wear our premier league strip feeling uncomfortable because of an era gone by still gripping the hearts of those who have done nothing more than follow 'our' club longer than others. Any thoughts?

So you prefer red to blue?

How bizarre.

I exactly understand your sentiments and mirror them. I'm worried to wear my red shirt as knowing some of the members of the Bluebirds United and their hooliganism ways, they could purposely spill a drink on it, stick a BU sticker on it confront me etc. We don't tell them what to wear. I'm friends with someone who went to the march at the Blackburn game and a group that was in March for Blue was shouting abuse at an old defenceless man on his own just because he was wearing a red polo shirt.

My colour preference is irrelevant. The now colour of our club is all that matters. Nothing bizarre about that

Don't be so ridiculous.

What about those who were threatened at a KCB meeting? Or those who are vocal about their anti red views and have been given "warnings"?

We are officially nicknamed the bluebirds you lamppost. Why are you calling yourself the redbirds? Very odd.

Gwyn? Well I don't condone what he said or done but I remember reading Twitter and this person was getting humiliated because he was the only person on the bus with a red scarf and they made him take him off. We should fuse the two colours together for a colourful display :ayatollah:

That's wrong too. But you can shove the fusion of colours too. ;)

Cardiff are BLUE.

Not Red... or red and blue..

Just BLUE. Anything different isnt Cardiff in my mind.

You have been in the sun all day, as Cardiff are red, this season and last season. What part of that is so difficult to understand ? We are red,not blue? :old: . We were blue but now red. It's exceptionally simple to follow.

It's simply a numbers game, how many turn up in the corp for your meetings and stand outside the castle in comparison to extending the stadium capacity to 32,500 for next season who are quite clearly acceptance of red. :old:

700 in a pub that only holds that many on a Tuesday night during the 'off-season'.

Says a lot to me. :malky:

Assuming that all those who attend are happily accepting the red is also silly.
