Like I keep saying - we've been trying for years to get to the PL. The last few years have been especially painful for various reasons. Now we're there, why is everybody effectively dragging us back down again? Sure, the pundits and footballing world at large will see us as relegation fodder, but most of this talk is coming from our own supporters.

Whatever happens, I'm determined to try and enjoy this season as a City fan. Yes, we could do with one or two signings in certain areas, but to cheer for the team on promotion, only to write them off month or two later seems bloody stupid to me...

A question for you my dear binero ...can i assume that you would be content to start the season with us just making only one serious signing also i would suggest that what quality Cornelius brings to the team is open to doubt

How long have we got to make signings? Ideally the 3rd of August, but we have until deadline day. Remember how important Bdn Turners been, especially in his first season? Unless I'm mistaken, he was signed on deadline day

Got a crystal ball? f**k me the negativity on here sometimes beggars belief. One thing our squad won't be lacking this coming season is commitment and passion. As fans we can forgive players making mistakes etc but one thing we won't forgive is anyone not giving 100%. I am confident we won't be able to level that criticism at any player Malky Mackay signs

I am sick and tired with city gent and carl curtiss telling so many porkies to keep the fans in dreamland.Will people realise that we will be premiership cannon fodder and the Jacks will thrash us twice.All Malky has done is pay 8mill for a 20yr kid who is unproven and nothing else so for f**ks sake accept the truth and relegation as a racing certainty.

I understand where you're coming from and we will have difficulty staying up if no more quality signings come in. Is this squad good enough as it stands - probably not! But hey, lets wait and see what happens in the next couple of weeks, 3/4 quality additions will brighten everyones mood up. Malky's not daft, he knows the PL takes no prisoners. A bit of quality added to our team work ethic and I could see us surprising the pundits, with a result 0-1 win at West Ham and a home win against Man City 2-1.
