CCFC Academy's and Talent all over the world

Thu Jul 18, 2013 9:43 pm

Who would ever have thought it, looks like we are gonna have academy's all over the world now or feeder clubs however you look at it, young talent could be snapped up cheap for CCFC from Bosnia,Croatia and Malaysia (Malaysian players gonna be a long shot I know), along with our academy system at home which is getting better all the time and the way things are going we will probably have an academy up there on the same level as chelsea arsenal etc..but fair play our club keeps on getting bigger and better and all thanks to one man, Vincent Tan well done sir, shame a lot of fans didnt see the bigger picture and wasn't blinded by the colour blue

The last 100 years. :laughing6: . Edin Dzeko, Salihamidzic, Milosevic, Stanic, Papac, all started at Sarajevo and forged excellent careers across Europe in the last couple of decades. Another jack mug :laughing5:

The great Ranges and Austia Vienna star Sasa Papic and Chelsea flop Stanic

So 3 players in the last 100 years, none of which are in any way shape or form would want to go to a lower end Prem team. I don't understand the excitement?

Another victory for the jacks on here? Is that how you get your kicks on a rival message board claiming victorys off your keyboard you sad c**t.

Edin Djeko was born in Sarajevo and had they had a good academy back then like they will now in the future he quite easily could have ended up starting his career there. It goes to show there are talented footballers that come from that area and if one young edin Djeko ended up at cardiff city then we sold him for 15 million pound then this project would all be worth it!

So f**k off you jack cunts and worry about ur shit academy down your heroin infested shit hole town

 If, if, if, if, if...

Sarajevo has given birth to one Edin Dzeko since football began and 2 or 3 players of note in the whole of history. the chances of one coming along in the short time Tan has left in Cardiff, then deciding to sign for Sarajevo then getting the urge to move to Cardiff, not mentioning then acquiring a work permit on the back of no caps at all.... is pretty slim.

keep polishing your turds

It's an "if" that was not previously there though, who knows what the future holds.
The more strings to the bow the better the chances.

The cynic in me tells me that these deals are all about VT's business plans and football is just a convenient vehicle.

However, it doesn't necessarily mean we wont benefit too. One thing I think we can all agree on is the fact that the FYR countries produce decent footballers. If (and it’s a big if) we can tap into that we can benefit.

As for the comments from our friends out West, you should be more aware than most that past success means nothing. The most important thing is the players these clubs WILL produce, not the players they have produced.
