Wolverhampton Wanderers player Bakary Sako is believed to have pleaded with his club to let him move to Premier League Fulham.
The winger, who moved to Wolves from St Etienne last summer, is said to have been given permission to talk to the London club but the move has stalled, with Fulham unwilling to meet the £4 million evaluation.
Sako is said to be the subject of interest from his native France, with Lille and Marseille expressing an interest in the player. However it is believed that the player wishes to stay in England and play in the Premier League.
While Wolves want to get Sako’s £20,000 a-week salary off of their books, new manager Kenny Jackett is keen to make a profit on the left-sided player, and use the £4 million to reinvest in the squad, in an attempt to get his side back into the Championship at the first attempt.

4m is a little too much for him IMO. He's worth a 2.5m bid though
