Marketing and TICKET OFFICE

Thu Jul 18, 2013 8:15 am

I know that the TO have to deal with a lot of calls from Fans wanting to know about tickets and the like...but demand could be managed more competently by the Marketers, who can only tell the Staff in the T.O. what they can do, before the most important game in the Club's history. Surely, Marketing a game such as our First in the top flight for how many years should be of the highest priority. Strategy should be better managed. Look at the facts: 10% allocation for a PL game. Championship away games are a lot different to manage than what they will have to look at. Firstly, there is the Prices which are going to be more 36% higher.

Then there is the increase in demand for Away games; More interest; Anticipation;not just by seasoned supporters but by ordinary fans. This all adds up and the Club must find a way to maximise its revenue, whilst at the same time to minimise such losses. Cant see why the club have placed this condition. I can only assume that 10% of ST Holders who attended Championship games(away) that they are thinking of targeting first. Therefore, I would expect that a sudden rush for tickets before the end of this month and beginning of August from this 10% of supporters. After that ST Holders and Away Members.
