No way will he be going there. He will stay at Spurs this year and then he'll be off to Real Madrid.

They will have to pay more than that ,Levy said a while back that he would never do business with Utd again after the way they suckered spurs on the berbatov deal ,so if he does you can imagine him hiking the price right up.

Next summer. I can't see him going now. Being on the face of everything in a Spurs kit, including the Fifa14 cover. If they don't get Champs league football he'll be off to United

Suckered??? Spurs got over £30m for a smoking, walking centre forward. Brilliant skill but not enough pace. Loved watching him play on MOTD or Sky, but £30m was good money.

Levy doesn't cover himself with glory does he - comes across as a bit of a prick.

BTW I for one will only be supporting CCFC when we play them :ayatollah:

I hate United but would be the perfect move for him. He'll be starting every week just like at Spurs but play in Europe and he stays in the country. I think he will be wasted at Real Madrid like Modric.

Manchester United's Gareth Bale transfer attempt is a waste of time, Tottenham warn
18 Jul 2013 22:30
Any attempts to move Daniel Levy into selling the Welsh winger will prove fruitless, according to White Hart Lane officials

Spurs last night told Manchester United they are wasting their time if they even try to talk about buying Gareth Bale.

Mirror Sport revealed yesterday that Old Trafford chief executive Edward Woodward had flown back from the champions’ tour in Australia to launch a £60million bid for Bale.

United believed they could tempt the Welshman away from Tottenham , and that the White Hart Lane club were willing to do business despite the previous statements from N17.

But last night Tottenham were privately insisting United would have more response from talking to a brick wall than trying to persuade chairman Daniel Levy to sell the star.

Senior Spurs representatives were adamant Bale is not for sale, even for a world record £85m.

Whitchurch boy isn't he?
I've heard he's going to run his contract down, get a 'free' to us & we'll pay him 30 grand a week.
