In Truth...

Despite the rumblings of discontent over players we've not signed, the questions over the capability of our squad, red shirts and the rebranding in general...

I'm genuinely looking forward to the start of the season - we're in the PL and it's been a long time coming. I was there in 2009 when we were hammered at home by Ipswich and missed the playoffs by one goal. I watched the 2010 play off final and turned the air blue in the Oystercatcher when Darcy's goal was disallowed. I was there in 2011 when Reading beat us in the play off semi final 2nd leg and the atmosphere turned toxic in the second half. I've been there other times as well.

So it's good to finally be there and have a crack at the big time. I don't care if we go straight back down. Yes, it'd be nice to stay there but we've been trying to get there for years and now we finally are - so let's enjoy it regardless of what happens. It'll be nice to see our team on MOTD and not have to wait til stupid o'clock for Maniche and Steve 'charisma' Claridge to brush us aside as a 30 second highlight and only play extended footage when we bloody lose...

Bluebirds, Bluebirds, Bluebirds... :)

 Too much negativity , and the season has not started.
These thick as s**t jerks coming on as well telling us about the great signings they have made (None of us, or the gypos, had even heard of them a couple of weeks ago) and how they are in Europe next season with Bala, Prestatyn and Airbus factory team. But at least those 3 are representing Wales, unlike the gypos, who rae representing England.
Malky will get it sorted and he will only bring in players that are right. Let the jerks sign sex offenders and thieves.
For all their great recruitment, remember they paid £800,000 for Craig Beattie

We have a decent hard working squad and goal scorers already. our midfield has technically good players and some grafters.
It is defensively (full backs) we need extra cover.

AS had been said before - 2 full backs, a centre half, a winger and a goalkeeper will do us fine in padding out the squad. :ayatollah:

I'm slightly concerned, given malky was willing to sign wanyama and Ince that leaves us with a massive black void . will be unfillable in my eyes.
I would expect to see another top striker, two 3 mids at least two big signings, one free - and also then 2 decent versatile defenders as a minimum,

that would of been enough to almost gaurantee we'd be a strong side.
Im getting nervous but I dont think malky is going to leave us struggle when we have money available - and must have plan B,C and D

The OP never mentioned anything about us, but you just had to
Your insecurities are evident Glas, it really gets to you that you are struggling to sign players but we are not, doesn't it

I have no insecurities when it comes to the shit hole town of scumsea that's for sure. Or your football team - administration town or wedontpayourbills.com. You are the ones who are insecure in your council owned rugby ground.
All I am saying is that many clubs have not bought lots of players and just because the measles centre has brought lots more foreign mercenaries does not mean we have to panic.
Our manager is not crying about leaving if he cannot spend money or our owners panic buying to stop another manager leaving. So enjoy representing England against factory and village teams.
