That's changing the clubs name though, our name is still intact :ayatollah:

Almost as bad as changing the club's colours in my opinion.

Both are as bad as each other and I know it'd be easier for Hull to accept if it was Tigers, where as if Cardiff Dragons was to happen there would be an uproar but it's still a change to Hull City A.F.C

This, makes them sound like a Rugby league team.

Even if we were in blue but our name was changed to Cardiff Bluebirds I'd be pissed off

Exactly what I was thinking, nicknames should always be kept out of the actual club's name in football

I'd feel the same. I feel their re-brand will be blended in but you search 'Hull City Tigers/Hull tigers' and you don't see a warm welcome to it, once you take a name, what do you have left

Personally if given the choice I would choose being called Cardiff Bluebirds and having our old badge and playing in blue over being called cardiff city and being in red with the disgusting Chinese takeaway shaped badge we currently have.

And where will cardiff cities history go? As cardiff city as a name will die as soon as change to Cardiff bluebirds came in!

The history would still be there, it will still be the same club. Swansea didn't lose their history when they changed their name from Town to City.

Everyone would still call them Cardiff and chants like c'mon City etc. would still be sung to be honest it would make no diffrence whatsoever IMO. While as we currently are the world will see us having that disgrace for a badge and a horrible red kit the second option is a lot worse IMO. :ayatollah:

But what do our fans call ourselves now? Swansea???? Ffs any sort name change is worse than colour change as you may as well go down route of mk dons .its one thing majority of fans said would be final straw ? Name change any kind of change! :o

Would been silly being called swansea town when it was changed to a city?
FFs complain about rebrand but think its ok to change name of club? Couldn't make it up! :laughing6:

Don't come close to our rebranding. Still, I wouldn't be happy if was a hull fan though.
