As a Championship club you won't be aware that the top Premier clubs don't have to finalise their 25 man squad until the end of August. That means that all the movement tends to be concentrated toward the back end of the window, frustrating but the the price you pay for being one of the big boys

We could, of course, sign average Championship players to satisfy people like yourself but Malky actually has a plan that has worked pretty well up to now thanks very much.

Having said all that, we gave the Championship a head start last year as we didn't make the signings of Bellamy, Connolly, Smith, Maynard and Noone until after 2 or 3 games into the season and we still won it by 8 points including drawing most of our games after we secured promotion and eased off slightly So no real rush as we won''t be relegated by the end of August and, indeed, it's doubtful that Malky has earmarked any of the first 3 games a key point games (West Ham (A), Man Ciy (H), Everton (H)).

????????I remember a simaler Leeds Team with so many high profile names (that they could not afford) being touted as the new champions of the league and europe but they met a supposedly small welsh club and then the team with all the big names Bowyer, Ferdinand starting a rapidly spiralling dropdown of the leagues after the small welsh club shafted em at NP.....We pulled out of Wanyama and we woulda got him if we paid over the odds an ince i mean come on it was over inflated price anyway.
