Yesterday we reported that Malaysian billionaire Vincent Tan was in town to check out the location of his latest possible investment – a billion euro hotel, apartment, marina and villa complex 27km west of Dubrovnik. It seems that property mogul Tan may leave Croatia with more than he came for.

Dubrovnik’s Mayor Andro Vlahusic has confirmed that Tan has been in discussion with local football club NK Dubrovnik about a possible takeover. The wealthy Malaysian, who is estimated to be worth over 10 billion USD, already has an interest in football clubs and owns new English Premier League club Cardiff City. Daily Jutarnji list reports that Tan is interested in NK Dubrovnik and that he has held discussions with the club’s board and Dubrovnik’s Mayor.

To be fair he's given Malky all the tools to sign players its up to the management to convince players we are a top club.

By the look of it VT is doing some business around the world on the back of Cardiff City being in the premier league.
With the premier leagues world wide audience Cardiff City is great publicity for VT and I expect him to give malky as much as is necessary to keep us there.
