Just tried to purchase an away ticket for West Ham, and it says i do not have enough "privileges" for this game. Hope its not going to be like this for all away matches this year.

eticketing sort it out. A little chat with the ticket office staff in the morning to find out what the score is

You have to have attended 3 or more away matches last season to buy the tickets. Thought everyone was aware of this.

is that condition applying to all away matches this season??

First few away games, then it will go to Premier League away games attended.

As people have already said, unless you went to at least 3 away matches last season, you are not entitled to go to WH, obviously this assists people who attended away games last season to get a head start on away entitlements for this coming season

To me it just shows that most of the fans dnt even bother reading any news about the club, wr was told a month ago that it be 3 away games

I cant get over the amount of people that haven't been to 3 or more away games last season, I class myself as a plastic when it comes to away games and even I went to 5 last season!!
also the amount of people I have spoken to who think this system is unfair just because they are not entitled to a ticket.
Can someone answer me a question though. With the voucher exchange for the west ham game do you need to present ID to confirm you are the person entitled to the ticket when you get to the services??

Been on the blower to the TO, and asked them if the eligibility of 3 games attended last season still stands for future Away Matches. They said at the moment it will still remain 3 games though depending on how sales this go, it is a possibility that it could be reduced to 2 games-for West Ham. Cant see them hanging around for too long though. My best bet would be trying for Hull, to get foot in the door.

I find a bit unfair to be honest. I live in Chorley and attended 9 aways but only bought 2 through the club as rest were available at the gate so now I can't get a ticket for WH

First few away games, then it will go to Premier League away games attended.
Which in effect means the same people getting tickets when they take the Premier games into account, as the people who went to 3 or more last season will be the only people who will get their hands on tickets for the first few matches in the Premier League, so no one else will get a look in.
Don't get me wrong, i am all for regulars getting some sort of priority, but the way the system is currently set up, no one else will get a chance this season. Whether these people have gone to games last season or not, they have still paid up front for a season ticket in exactly the same way as the people who have gone to away games, and should be able to get some sort of opportunity to purchase away tickets as well.
Maybe allocate a small amount for these people, ie, for a 3000 allocation, give the first 2500 to people who have a record of attending away matches, then once these have sold offer the remaining 500 to all ST holders, then if any remain, offer to Gold members.

Just under 2000 people were entitled to a hull ticket last year and that was on the basis of 2 games attended during the season. So going on that there will still be 1000 left over they are just given the hard core first refusal...
Plus at £42 for a ticket do you honestly think these 2000-3000 are going to afford and have the time to attend every away game???

how come ur deciding to start going away anyway? why didnt u do more last season?
Tue Jul 16, 2013 12:47 pm
I'm all for priority for fans who have spent their hard-earned cash going away. The PL Ticket prices will gauge demand for most matches. As for last season work commitments meant lots of supporters will be missing out on what will undoubtedly an historic occasion. Just thought the Club could reward ST holders more. 22000 ST holders and 3000 allocation. It hardly goes without saying on these prices there might be some left over. Just have to take a chance.

by the end of the week they will change it to 1 game im sure of it. plus all good sayin 22,000 season ticket holders, some of them havent even thought about going to away games until this season and are moaning that they will not be gettin tickets. the club is in a tight situation, i went to 15 last year i would not be happy if i lost out to a person who has never left the cardiff city stadium to watch them

I know a lot of people who attended pretty much every away game last season but don't attend home games. so is it fair for them to miss out to season ticket holders who did not attend away games last season???
