Rumours going around that we are after him, would love him here.
Apparently £2 Million would be enough
Hopefully Malky will put a bid in
Mon Jul 15, 2013 7:45 pm
Now that would be a signing!
Mon Jul 15, 2013 7:47 pm
would be a great signing, but plenty of bigger clubs will be after him!
Mon Jul 15, 2013 8:33 pm
Yeah totally agree, many top clubs would be after him but hopefully if Malky nips in first
Mon Jul 15, 2013 8:40 pm
Seriously ......
Can't convince Tom Ince but Scotty Parker yeah sure!!

It could be argued that Ince is starting anf Parker on downward slope.
Theis could be great for Parker, new lease of life and worshiped if
successful here.
We are a Premier league club after all. Is it so off the mark?

Yes!

Be a brilliant signing.

I stand corrected then
Pehaps I was thinking of Paul Parker!
Mon Jul 15, 2013 9:55 pm
Would be class, more chance of him going to QPR.

Ever since i heard spurs wanted to offload him i wanted city to make a bid for him.
He has good experience of the premier league, works hard on the pitch and would be a role model for the younger players
Only issue is, I would imagine he would have to take a wage cut to become a bluebird, but if we could land him it would be a fantastic signing!

At that price a lot of teams would be looking at him, he would probably go to west ham

have to look at what players are at other clubs in his position and if they need to spend in them positions before making that type of comment imo, a lot of teams are well covered in them positions and may rather spend elswhere leavin a team like us with a better chance

like you say ince is starting and scott parker is finishing his career.should be remembered he left chelsea for newcastle if i remember right cos he wanted regular football.always seemed a lad who wants a game and a challenge.not beyond the realms of possibility in my eyes

Has he booked his kids into Howells School ?
Tue Jul 16, 2013 5:18 am
What we need to remember about these ''big names'' is just that, they are names. Look beyond that
and you will see a 33 yr old feller who has played less than 50 games in the last two seasons. There
has to be a reason for that, because if he's slowing down, or has lost that edge, then hes probably
been found wanting on that pitch - in one of Englands best sides - so who's to say hes not going to
make even less of an impact for Cardiff City. We may get one decent season out of him but f**k it
if he's going to go chasing huge wages. He IS on the wane
Tue Jul 16, 2013 5:31 am
seen him play loads of times last season (no! not a secret spurs fan) and he was excellent, if that is slowing down then lets have some more slowing down players

Outside our pay bracket I'm afraid

He's 33. If Man Utd signed him he could expect a pay rise, but he's not getting any younger

definatly the type of cool head we could do with, he's seen it all, not many of our team have....
Tue Jul 16, 2013 6:35 am
Not for me thank you. He's too old and runs around in circles getting nowhere. He's just a tippy tappy passer, has no real vision and coming to the end of his career. We want players on the way up not on the way down.
