Barnett as our big signing at central defence?! He is an ok Championship defender, the type of player you replace with better as a priority when you get promotion. That's an opinion I have after watching every game he played for us last season and an opinion allayed by every manager that he has played under that has had him in the premier league. He's never made it at that level and there is a reason for it!

Signings will come but please not players of this calibre because they won't strengthen our squad.

... Not sure what you're getting at? This post is about Leon Barnett not being good enough for the premier league but many people on here really want him to be the defensive signing we make this summer...
