If we had managed to sign Wanyama and Ince, would you not be worried that the total quoted budget was spent on three players(including the Viking) untested at Premiership level, any one of them is well worth a punt but three would have been very risky.

Hard to disagree with.

I would have been happy with Cornelius and either one of Ince and Wanyama, but to spend that much on all three when we could get PL experience in on loan or as free agents would have been excessive.

agreed, but that#s the thing about money, once you have it you want to spend it.

agree with this. would have been a big risk but they did both have great seasons, so whoo knowwss what would of happened

Good points. Sometimes you have to spend big, not saying overpaying but at this level you can't get freebies and signings that cost very cheap, unless it is an unknown player from abroad. QPR over-payed, £8 Mil for Cornelius seems fair, sometimes even the best players are unproven in this league. The best thing is just to sit back and trust Malky and the board, that way I don't have to worry about the prices being payed.
