He has made 67 club appearances for Cardiff scoring 17 goals since signing from Plymouth Argyle.

Date of Birth: 13th May 1991
Total Club Goals: 17
Republic of Ireland U19 Goals: 2

Since becoming professional in 2009, Joe has won the NPower Championship title, and become runners-up in the Football League cup with Cardiff City and was also named Cardiff City Young Player of the Year for 2011-2012.

He is under contract at Cardiff City until 2016, a player who in March was still much in the plans of Malky Mackay, Would he be out of favour much in the Premier League?

Now way should he go to Blackpool. He'll go backwards with Paul Ince in charge. Should go to Bournemouth.

So f*cking annoyed with the fact hes being sent out on loan to anyone

I think it's the right choice to send him out, especially if we're looking for another striker. Not Blackpool though, someone like Forest, Leicester, Bolton or Brighton would be more ideal. A nice pitch and challenging at the right end of the table.

too good for that club with the worse pitch in the league

I hope he stays as I would say he's good back-up to Kimbo, Mason can play as a striker but I feel his best position is just behind the striker/strikers

Around the time of the Carling Cup final Mason was easily one of the brightest sparks in the Championship yet hardly featured last season only 13 starts (29 in his first season).

Think Malky is to blame for his lack of development? Or VT for his "Get promoted now!" policy forcing Malky to bring in more season's reliably goal scorers to ensure the job got done.

Is sad though because I feel behind FC he could have shone last season.

Currently no-one should even be going anywhere at this moment. Mason shouldn't be going out on loan either.

It would be understandable if he went Bournemouth on loan because it's close to Plymouth isn't it?

About 2 hours and 40 minutes away from each other.

Calm down, no one is going out on loan or being sold until we get players in

A question; does Mason know he's going out on loan? Or Rudy?

:laughing3:

In all seriousness though, Mason is unheard of really to premiership defenders, I reckon he'd do we'll for half a season until he's Sussed out, but we need squad rotation!
