Really good goal scoring record his value is around the £10m mark
Turned away from training, for not wearing the Wonga kit on religious grounds and he wouldn't mind wearing a visit Malaysia shirt,

Very true, Newcastle were excellant in the 1st few months of last season that is why they awarded Pardew with an 8 yr contract  . But Cisse has pure class whether he would come to us or we would pay his salary would be questionable, I am sure other top teams would be interested if he was transfer listed.

by bringing religion into it he opens a right
Can of worms. What if his next protest is against
Carling? Budweiser? Greggs pork pies?

Dont need that bollocks here. Like it or not we are a
Western capitalist country they are a disgusting
company but players cannot have the right to pick
And choose

Would be a great signing but no room for players bringing religion into it and refusing to do certain things because of their ridiculous beliefs.

Anybody watch the bbc program about it? Number of other players such as Al-Habsi who state that stuff like that is out of their control and they have to do it as it is their job.

See Ramadam is one thing. Providing their football doesnt suffer, whats the problem? But they are paid big
money and contracted to do certain things. Where does it end? - in a situation like these dickheads cause in
Tesco etc "Oh I refuse to serve alcohol its against my religion" - people like this should be told from the off
"right, there's the door, this job involves selling alcohol, pork, and ham sandwiches" There are hundreds and
hundreds of little corner shops in Britain run by Asians (including Muslims) and they dont refuse to sell alcohol
or bacon in their shops. What next, will a 'devout muslim' refuse to wear the sponsorship of "HSBC" we all
agree the banks are robbing bastards!! But these 'stances' are more about making a political point than they are
about conscience. f**k them off!!

n.b. - Imagine a Christian refusing to cook Halal meat in McDonalds because its against his beliefs the way
the food is killed. Yes, how ridiculous. Go find another job!!
