I like your thinking but there is a flaw with your plan.

You can only bet so much in each bookie at a time.

You might be ok if they don't smell a rat and put them on simultaneously otherwise by the time you hit the next bookies it could be 5/1 or something. Oh and Cardiff could lose of course, plus you would have to spend well over the odds on players. Plus im sure there is some rule somewhere to stop you doing that.
