He is a skilful player but he does not put himself around the park. He may do one or two things in 90 minutes but for the bulk of the game he is not involved at all. Hence the reason why he did not play a lot last season at QPR. I quoted an MM type of player because MM generally picks players with a high work rate and I feel that this player does not fit into that category.

i understand what your saying about his work rate but surely he is worth a punt on loan, he is a top player & could do a job for us. But saying alll that do we really need another centre mid or attacking mid player i think thats where we r strongest???

If he is still available on the 31 August and we still haven't signed anyone then yes we should sign him on loan. In other words a last resort.

He's a match winner that can't be denied, exciting to watch as well, whether he'd fit in down here is another thing.

Hes one hell of a player but youve got to question his motivation and effort. No doubt about his ability though

It's not really about being a Malky type in a way, it's about would he fit in with his team mates who appear to be a tight knit bunch of single minded professionals, Malky types if you like.
