I think we need a minimum of three or four prem players imo or its back down we go sorry folks just keeping it real even if its not liked, questions will be asked imo about Tan, MM and the current squad if this does not happen and it goes bad from the start

I got to be honest I believe where ok for strikers at the moment and I think our centre midfield looks good , I don't believe we can expect miracles , two defenders and one fast winger for our starting 11 and I would be happy and other additions a bonus my opinion

Can definitely see where he is coming from. Wouldn't want Marshall or Taylor to be injured with current back ups we have. Would love a centre back with any sort of pace. Don't want to have to play Whitts in holding role. Think Bellamy may have to slow down at some point and so only left with Noone and Conway as wingers (can't see Smith being involved a lot). And up front if Maynard and Campbell's history is anything to go by they will have plenty of injuries leaving us with just Mason, Cornelias and Rudy unless Velikonja turns out to be the gem Malky thought he was.

MM - Said he wanted to bring in 4-5 players before the season starts - so yes agree we need to add to the squad.

It wasn't too long ago that West Ham were interested in Turner, whilst Kev and Connolly should be capable of playing decently in the PL.

In terms of quick wingers, I reckon Marc Albrighton from Villa wouldn't be a bad buy.

But otherwise, yes - a defender or two would certainly be a wise investment. People have mentioned Martin Kelly of LFC in recent days - that'd be a good move. Or Ryan Bertrand.

I would have said Swansea was better with Rangel, Caulker and N.Taylor. No idea who Norwich had at the back and what signings they made in defence to be honest mate.

I'd agree with the new fans who sing part - at times, it feels like the away fans make all the noise and apart from a hardcore few in the Canton, we only seem to sing at the start and when we score. It makes you feel awkward when you get up in certain parts of the ground and try to get a chant going, because one or two middle class families will turn around and give you filthy looks!
