Daniel Carrico

Reading central defender signed from Sporting Lisbon (where he was captain) back in January for €750,000.

Made a few appearances in the Premier League, but seemingly became out of favour following the sacking of Brian McDermott.

Reading say he's available, and at 24 years-old - with plenty of European experience thrown in - would be a decent buy. Surely they would only want to recoup the money they purchased him for?

id have no opinion on it and im sure many others are the same. i know nothing about him. if i based an opinion on anything at all id find it dodgy that he wasn't a regular at a relegated team.

This.
I've not heard of him he's only made 3 appearances for a team that got relegated?

It takes time for certain players to settle in, and Reading now say he's done so.

I've watched him a few times for Sporting in the Europe League, and he was relatively solid. Not the tallest defender you'll see, but he makes up for that in technical ability.

It was just a suggestion, considering he's available. Obviously I'm unaware as to how many know of Carrico.
