Another quality player that we are getting linked with. However, i just cant see Ajax willing to let him leave even if he does have other players in front of him. They would probably want a biggish fee for him of over £5m, possibly. Would love for us to try and get him though and also go for Ajax's Dutch International right back Ricardo van Rhijn, who can also play centre half. He is a fantastic defender and renowned for his high work rate, aerial ability, speed, recovery and composure. Go on Malky try and bring the pair of them here, they would definitely fit in well with the rest of the squad.

Watched him against Manchester City in the Champions league last season in the game I think they beat them in, he was fantastic. If he's down the pecking order then we have a slight chance of getting him.
