Matt Phillips out for 3 months

Blackpool have been boosted by the news Tom Ince has rejected Cardiff, but rocked by the results of a scan on Matt Phillips’ injury.


Phillips was involved in a nasty fall during training on Thursday and had a scan on what was originally believed to be a dislocated elbow.

But the Seasiders were stunned to discover their talented winger could miss as much as three months of the coming season after a break was revealed.

The 22-year-old will have an operation on the break this morning, but may not not be fit to return to action until October.

It wasn’t all bad news for manager Paul Ince, with the news his son decided against a move to Cardiff.

God knows but thats two bits of bad luck for blackpool with phillips injured and losing out on 8 million

Looks like the scummy club is in trouble.

Yeah their chairman I suspect will be having a chat with Ince family to see why he hasn't moved ?
They accepted the bid and I bet Ince snr wants money to get new players in.

I just don't understand why he took so long to decide ? He would have known when the baby was due and that his partner would most probably be reluctant to move and wanted to stay close to family ? He had also agreed terms so very confused?

It does make you think he was trying to use us to bring other clubs in for him ?

Ah well, lets move on, there are other quality players who would the love the chance to play for us and i cant wait for the season to start !
