Leicester City have today rejected a bid for Cardiff City target Wes Morgan from Nottingham Forest.

Nottingham Forest had raised their bid for the centre half to around £1.5 million, but it was again rejected by Leicester City, who have stated Morgan is not for sale. Recently promoted Cardiff City were reportedly weighing up a bid for the 29 year old, and if their bid is to be fruitful they must improve on this offer.

Nottingham Forest manager Billy Davies is keen to rebuild his defence this summer, and sees former Forest player Wes Morgan as the ideal man to take the central defence berth.
