Brand trademarks/copyrights?

Anyone know the best way to find out if a certain Brand is copyrighted ?

copyright, trademarks and company registrations are very different things.
Copyright is on "artistic" works and not on words or names.
Trademarks and company registrations can be checked.
Companies house is the register of Limited companies and you can check on their site. http://www.companieshouse.gov.uk
Trademarks are the symbols that distinguish particular goods or services and can be checked here http://www.trademarkroom.com/
details of trademark criteria are here http://www.ipo.gov.uk/tm.htm.

This is just a name i'm sure it's not a company although i have seen it once or twice when i have typed it into Google images but only looks like someone's used it with photoshop or similar and no sign of a copyright.
The name is not popular but could be for me

I would think its copyrighted rather than trademarked.. But not seen any hint of either
