While ince was wasting malky and cardiff city's time with the transfer dragging it out part of that 8.5 millions could have and damn f*cking well SHOULD have been spent on topping up the wanyama deal and getting him here! I understand ince just had a baby but i for one am fucked off that he has dragged this out, turned us down and ultimately wasted our time when we could have been sorting other deals out.

Good point.

I agree with you-also I think wanyama would have agreed to join us aswell.
Fri Jul 12, 2013 3:08 pm
good point ,maybe malky shouldve pushed more for him rather than wait on ince ,got him signed first then wait to see what ince would've done.

I am much more disappointed in losing out on Wanyama than Ince. But I honestly don't think one had anything to do with the other. If Malky wanted Wanyama for Celtic's asking price, he would have gone and got him regardless of Ince.

Apparently we got turned down by celtic because they didn't like our terms pf payment? If wanted him that badly we would have gone the xtra mile to get him. Ince had no bearing on deal.

Wanyama was definitely more eager to join us but we needed a winger more than we needed a CM but I can definitely understand everyone's sentiments, he's joined a good club now(Wanyama) and I feel we may be made to rue the opportunity but it's all the part and parcel of football. We have what, 17m left over now to go strengthen? I think we'll make another bid for Lex Immers

Got to say that this hasn't made Malky look good.

I wouldn't have offered another penny for Wanyama. Celtic have robbed Southampton and i'm glad it wasn't us.
There are other players out there, it's not a big drama at this stage of the summer so chill out.

Disappointed with City,s transfer dealings. Prior to the In e decision thought that the club should have paid the extra 500k- 1 m for Wanyama. A strong midfielder who can score goals preferred him over Ince and by all counts he wanted to come to City !

Some people dont half talk shit on here. Celtic started a bidding war for Wanyama, we walked away and for a lad who
has only really played SPL, £12.5m is madness. TEN would have been mad, but I'm tempted to think he might have been
worth that much, but not £12.5. WELL DONE MALKY!
As for Ince? Its obvious he was thinking about coming here, or he wouldnt have come down to meet Malky, but at the end
of the day we have to look at it and say, hang on, he came here with his Dad. then today when HE? decided the answer
was no, it was his old man phoned Malky, not him!! Had that been my son id have MADE him pick up the phone and
sort it out himself. Low moral fibre. Not the kind of player you'd want in the trenches and its that lack of respect at the
very end that clinches it for me. Malky acted professionally throughout. The Ince's obviously think they are above that.
WELL DONE MALKY!!
Now go sign us a few up that DO want to be here, but same again mate... dont be held to ransom

What? on these two particular deals, yes they would. Malky had no choice but to give Ince an extra day or
so. The lads bird HAD given birth to a new born baby, Malky had to do the decent thing. As for Celtic? They
clearly wanted a bidding war and im glad Malky never gave that cocky little c**t Lennon the opportunity
to lord it over us

Wanyama is off elsewhere by the looks of it
Mon Jul 15, 2013 10:37 pm
Still no sign of the wanyama and ince money being spent elsewhere, malky better get some quality in or a lot of people will be fucked off he didnt add the money to the wanyama deal and sign him

wanyama is a bit too much of a gamble for us, this is our first season up there. we need to be finding wanyama's like celtic did and like we have done with players we have now. maybe next year or in the seasons to come we can gamble big like that. there is plenty of players out there, the SPL isnt a particularly good benchmark either. i'd prefer parker and save 10 million anyday.

It's a fine balancing act not to overspend, however you do need to bring in some quality players because in a years time we may not be able to 'gamble' because we could be back in the Championship. You need to survive a year or two and each year add quality but we need a bit of quality this season and preferably a few players with Premier League experience.
