Maybe Ince just knows his level

Fri Jul 12, 2013 2:23 pm

If he had joined us and failed there would be no bumper contact to sit on or a chance to move to a bigger club.

If he stays at Blackpool he can have another in form first half of the season or full season and move on then straight away to a bigger club on a 3-5 year contract. Even if he fails he can sit on the bench and the money keeps rolling in.

Bit gutted in a way but in other ways not so much because there are plenty of other quality players out there.

Maybe there is doubt there in the Ince camp that he wouldn't have made the grade or been enough of an impact to warrant a bigger move in the future so they want his first contract back in the Premier League to be a bumper contract he can sit on if he fails.

There may be a sense of negativity now but surely if a player doesn't want to come its better we know than him signing and being unhappy. Still a long time left in the transfer window yet.

What happens if he plays crap for blackpool next season-nobody will want him and his price will plummet.he might make it big,but he could also find himself forever in the championship!!!!

I get that he's just had a kid, but he's obviously known about that for months, so when exactly is he planning on leaving Blackpool? Or does he actually see his long term future with them? This might be his one big chance of making the step up, and he could have blown it. Surely it makes more sense to start fresh in a new place while the kid is young, rather than uproot them in a years time? Ah well. His loss.

This drama does not seem to be benefitting Tom Ince in the slightest. We now have the lads value, it is £8m
and that is what Blackpool will be looking for from any other Club. But there are only Liverpool and Everton
up there. He's NOT going to get snapped up by Utd or City. So if he does not go in the next 5 weeks, he is a
Blackpool player til January minimum. By then he will be playing on a mud bath. By then he may well be in
a struggling side, Blackpool needed the money this season. If Paul Ince was TRULY all about his son he'd have
packed his missus off with the young couple for a few months til the new young mum found her feet. I get the
feeling this whole sorry episode is about the father not the son.
