Ince's arrogance - like father like son!

Fri Jul 12, 2013 1:54 pm

He might live to regret this one and what arrogance he's shown - but that doesn't surprise me being the son on Paul Ince.
I wouldn't be surprised that his daddy won't be there too much longer!!!

Useless Manager he will never hack it, but maybe his son is thinking of his long term future, he can let his family situation settle down, and run his contract down and sign a much bigger deal next season, who knows what will happen, but he's made his choice, time for us to move on to bigger and better targets :ayatollah:

Is it really arrogance if he declined a PL club though? He didn't want to come here because of family reasons which I find strange because why did he come down here in the first place? He's just wasting our time.

Made a family choice - utter balls! Do you honestly think had Tottenham, Liverpool or Chelsea came in he'd still be at Blackpool - of course he wouldn't. His arrogance is, he thinks he can do better and will wait for a top 6 side to come in. Personally he's not good enough for a top 6 side yet and he had the perfect chance with us to prove himself and put himself in the shop window!

Shut the f**k up for god sake. He has no obligation us or the club, move on. It's dissapointing to say the least but he's made a decision to stay with his family and help his dad out for at least a season. His dads probably been a massive influence on his career and he wants to pay him back a bit I imagine.

Your point about waiting for the top 6 may be true but the lure of European football outweighs the lure of being close to your family perhaps?

What gives you the right to tell people to shut the f...up! We all have opinions, ones we don't like and ones we do! I took my wife and 6 month old with me, when I worked in Asia; and my wife and kid joined me out when I was already out there.
The family thing is bullshit mate! "Excusitis I think it is called.

He doesn't need an excuse to turn us down, it's his choice if he doesn't want to come to us then he doesn't want to come to us. Isn't that lovely that you took your wife and baby to Asia with you, lovely that you all made that decision to do it. It's also lovely that Tom Ince's and his family have made the decision to not do what you did.

He has most definitely not helped Blackpool out. Oyston must be fuming. Thats £8m the club have just lost
out on. This helps nobody except a young mans ego, probably fed by his dad who as we all know has one of
the biggest ego's in football. Take the £8m, you could get THREE cracking Championship quality wingers
in with that money. To me it seems like Paul Ince thinking of his son and not his job. Perhaps, like many
parents, when Paul watches Tom he sees Lionel Messi (we all know what Ian Wright was like over his ''seany")
This in no way translates as good business for Blackpool. By January, IF Ince decides to go (if anyone comes
in for him) he will go for a hell of a lot less than £8m.

The Paul Ince who bottled taking a penalty for England,The Governor lol he's having a laugh. We're better off without them.

The kid and his dad both think he should be playing for one of the top top teams.

Arrogance is exactly the word.
