After the celebration, he looked as if he wanted to get off the pitch but 3 stewards grabbed him before he could get away. Showed that he wasn't going to cause trouble, and was no where near any of the Swansea fans or players. He just wanted to celebrate the win with the players like the rest of us.

The Cardiff fans caused no trouble what so ever, not even a bottle thrown at the Swansea fan's. Not even a coin onto the pitch. Power Crazy: Browns Britain.

Fukin Disgrace!! The thing is there's no pressure groups out there who are concerned about the treatment a White male football fan receives from the authorities, so they know they can take the Piss, and there's no comebacks. Hope the kid appeals.

This is ridiculous, he is clearly no football hooligan and no threat to anyone, he is just a kid celebrating with one of his idols.
the courts obviously do not know what they are doing and the police shoul be ashamed of themselves even bringing this case to court, they should have given him a slap on the wrist told him not to do it again and ejected him out of the stadium for the rest of the game.

It is a fooking disgrace.

He ran on in the heat of the moment to celebrate with Chops and the players. Chops even ushered him to away after, but still got collared they the fooking jobworths we got stewarding/policing our stadium.

I don't want to see any City fan banned, but did the 3 or 4 lads that jumped on the pitch to celebrate our 2nd get done????

Sorry but the Courts/Police/Govt on cases like this are going after the wrong people.

and Banned from Cardiff City Centre on match days.

He got banned for entering the field of play, not for 'hugging chops'.

What was the attendance, 25,500 ?? He was the only one who thought it OK to come onto the pitch.

Seems a reasonable punishment to me.

yeh you would wouldnt you, next you'll be telling us it was self-defence throwing coins into the family stand

Re: FOR HUGGING CHOPS

thats absolutly pathetic, just a bit of over exuberance by the kid, there is no such thing as a fair trial for a football supporter anymore they have made up their mind that you are guilty and they are going to throw the book at you before you even walk into the courtroom.

Re: FOR HUGGING CHOPS

Pedantically, he was guilty - you don't enter the field of play.

The only question is if the sentence was too harsh, IMO I'd agree with that view.

Re: FOR HUGGING CHOPS

Tue Apr 20, 2010 1:08 pm

you see fans on the pitch all the time on telly they should of looked at all the swansea fans running down from there seats when we played them at the liberty and even took them along time to get back to there seats!! police are there to look for trouble half the timee f*cking shocking!!

Re: FOR HUGGING CHOPS

Tue Apr 20, 2010 1:15 pm

the punishment shoud fit the crime, we all agree he should not have done it. but the punishment seems far to harsh.

Re: FOR HUGGING CHOPS

Tue Apr 20, 2010 3:15 pm

Absolute disgrace......the police and courts should spend more time and effort on convicting some real criminals.
time for another march annis :ayatollah:
