How difficult is it to leave Blackpool?

Fri Jul 12, 2013 10:45 am

Eh? It ain't like it's Leeds or some giant of the football world.Personally i'd be insulted if we were after a player and he was undecided about joining as he loved it at Blackpool ffs.

A player from Airbus rejected your lot the other day.

Became a father to a local girl yesterday & doesn't want to then disappear? I'd understand that. Of course, you're not going to add that part to your post as it doesn't suit your agenda.

How difficult is it to get off the heroin in Swansea?

Nothing to do with him playing for Blackpool.

All about his whole life being in the northwest including his new born daughter. Can't blame the lad if leaving them (if they won't move down) is too much for him.

Would you pack up and leave if you're mrs just had baby? Perhaps she couldnt waite for you to go? Just because you're player's/managers can't wait to leave you recently doesn't mean ince has to say yes in a minute? Ffs :malky:

If he packed up and left his mrs (sister in his case) just imagine how happy his father would be as he would have her all to himself.

It's only a 4 hour drive ffs. We've just signed a load of Spanish lads.Jordi Amat has brought his mother and father, sisters and brothers with him.Saying it's because he loves it up North is bollox and you all know it.He won't be the first to have a baby and move a couple of hundred miles away to play his football.Joe Allen done it last season.

The fact is you're not a very attractive proposition.

I think we both know that all these players are only joining you for one reason.

'Laudrup'

So please get this assumption of them wanting to play for you out of your head because I can guarantee that if laudrup wasn't with you, these players wouldn't give you a seconds glance.

You probably wouldn't want to move away if you and your sister were having another baby. :ayatollah:

Yeah because it's the Premier league and he's only a kid.The Danish lads on Planet swans said he struggled in the 2nd half of the Superliga last season once the defenders sussed him out.He was on fire the first half but only scored twice after that.

They probably all came for the benefit system (free healthcare etc) and knew they would fit in easily in your depressing shit hole of a town. Like everyone else they will move on next year.
Even people from there can't wait to get away, like Joe Allen.
Perhaps his gf wants to stay close to her family having just had a baby. Like any normal person would.

Laudrup is OUR manager and of course they've one eye on playing under him.I don't get your point. They've signed for Swansea City,on 3 and 4 yr deals.

They would say that though, he scored more than twice too, once teams were alerted we had a bid accepted they tried their uttermost best to sign him yet still signed for us?

Unlucky

You should have been after Okore instead, the other Danish 'superstar' in the making. He would have shored up your aging carthorse defence.

No,you are not.The Laudrup factor is obviously there and last year i'd have agreed with you 100%.Not this year though. We're a far more attractive option for players now, as a club alone.
